Available for new projects

I build fast, custom websites for small businesses.

Seven years as a software engineer — building sites that load quick, show up in search, and don't need babysitting. Built from scratch — no templates, no page-builder bloat.

Selected work

Sites built for people who don't want to think about their website.

Three Dog Bakery

Their old site hadn't been touched in years and did nothing to show off what they actually make. Now the products are front and center, customers can reach the shop straight from a contact form, and a newsletter signup keeps regulars coming back.

Zac Evan site

Zac Evan

Had no site at all — just word of mouth and social media. Now his photography portfolio and handmade leather goods live in one place, with a real storefront he can manage himself.

  • Photography portfolio
  • Shopify storefront
  • Self-serve inventory

Marathon Mortgage

Had nothing but a bare URL — no real site behind it. The owner tried building it himself but needed help getting it over the finish line. Now there's a proper site with a portfolio section, Google reviews pulled in automatically, and a contact form that routes inquiries straight to him.

What I build

Not a template shop. Every project is custom-coded to do one job — turn visitors into customers.

01

Marketing & brochure sites

Home, services, about, contact — the pages that convince someone to pick up the phone instead of clicking to a competitor. Built fast, built to rank.

  • Local SEO
  • Fast by default
  • Mobile-first

02

Booking & lead capture

Contact forms, quote requests, and calendars wired straight to your inbox — so no lead sits in a spam folder or a dashboard you never check.

  • Contact forms
  • Calendar sync
  • Email routing

03

Portfolio & case study sites

Photo-first layouts for contractors, makers, and studios, with reviews pulled in automatically — proof that sells the job before you show up.

  • Image galleries
  • Auto-synced reviews
  • Case studies

04

Ongoing care

A site doesn't stop needing attention at launch. Small fixes, content swaps, and uptime monitoring — handled without you having to think about it.

Process

How it works, start to finish.

01

Quick call

Tell me what's not working — old site, no site, or a redesign you've been putting off. Fifteen minutes, no sales pitch.

02

Fixed-price scope

You get an exact price and timeline before any code gets written. No hourly billing, no surprise invoices halfway through.

03

Design & build

I design and build the whole thing myself — no templates, no outsourced labor, no page-builder plugins slowing it down.

04

Launch & handoff

The site goes live on your domain, you get a walkthrough, and I stick around after launch if something needs fixing.

About

Hi, I'm Clayton — I build the sites myself.

Seven years as a software engineer, most of it building products that had to survive real traffic and real deadlines. A few years ago I started taking on sites for small businesses around Metro Detroit — the kind of client who's been burned by a $99 template or a freelancer who went quiet halfway through.

No agency, no subcontractors, no page-builder plugins. You talk to the person who writes the code — from the first call, through launch, to whatever needs fixing after.
